LAB MEMBER INTRODUCTION

Jun Suzuki鈴木 淳

Professor

It is my pleasure to progress exciting science in this favorable environment of Kyoto University iCeMS. I would like to offer the place and opportunity so that everyone in my lab can grow and enjoy in every stage of each career.

Masahiro Maruoka圓岡 真宏

Assistant Professor

When I was graduate student, I learned about molecular biology to analyze the function of proto-oncogene under the instruction of Dr. Tatsuo Takeya and Dr. Tomoyuki Shishido at NAIST. After graduation, I learned about cell biology, especially in live-cell imaging at single molecule level under the instruction of Dr. Naoki Watanabe at Kyoto University. Then, I analyzed the role of cell-cell junction proteins using knock-out mice under the instruction of Dr. Yoshimi Takai at Kobe University. In Suzuki Lab, I hope to identify the genes that participates in phospholipid scrambling and to analyze the identified genes by the variety of techniques I have learned before.
