Prof. Bruce Mayer had a seminar, hosted by Prof. Michiyuki Matsuda. He was a member of Hanafusa lab in Rockefeller University, and identified Crk gene from CT10 virus. This finding led to the discovery that SH3 domain binds to the proline-rich region by him and SH2 domain binds to phospho-tyrosine by Prof. Matsuda. Thank Prof. Matsuda for dinner as well!
